Chemistry

Students who are pursuing either a B.A. in Chemistry or a B.S. in Chemistry are good candidates for WVUteach!

Students who are interested in teaching Chemistry, but are not pursuing a Chemistry B.A. or B.S. can still participate in WVUteach and pursue teaching certification by following our non-major plan in Chemistry.

The plans of study below are suggestions for students in both majors based on the first Math class taken at WVU (which is determined by ACT Math and/or SAT Math scores) and the first Chemistry class taken. Plans can be customized individually, but these are recommended pathways to get students started.
