Course Roadmap

WVUteach is a unique collaboration between the WVU Center for Excellence in STEM Education, housed in the Office of the Provost, as well as Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education and Human Services.

Following a parallel track, you will earn your degree in your field of study (for example: biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics) while working toward eligibility for a teaching certification within four years. Be prepared to take challenging science and mathematics coursework leading to a degree in your STEM major.

Customizing your Degree

The WVUteach curriculum is designed so a variety of degree plans for STEM majors can lead to different licensures and STEM fields. Check out some of the degrees guides below to see how they can be customized to fit into your academic portfolio.
